Lee-Gray Boze

Lee-Gray Boze is an ocean scientist and lifelong caver. He has been caving for 20 years and favors large project systems. He is dedicated to getting more people involved in cave exploration and cave science and seeks to enable citizen-science programs.

John Fioroni

John has been caving for the past 28 years. He is chairman of the Boston Grotto, a NSS member and a JV with the Cave Research Foundation. John co-leads expeditions in Cuba, Kurdistan and Turkey. John is active with exploration efforts in Mammoth Cave and Jewel Cave.

Stephanie Mailhac

Stephanie has been caving since 2008. She is a board member of Spéléo Club du Liban (Lebanon). She has participated in numerous important caving expeditions in Lebanon as well as in several other countries. Stephanie has contributed to the founding of the Cypriot Caving Club, working on the recruitment and training of Cypriot cavers.

Through her experience, she has now become active in cave conservation, focusing on awareness and development.

Giuseppe Nicolosi

Giuseppe is a biologist specializing in the study of cave fauna and subterranean ecosystems. He has been caving since 2013, as a member of “Centro Speleologico Etneo” in Catania, Sicily; dedicating himself to the exploration and study of karst and volcanic caves.

He is collaborating with the University of Catania while pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Turin, that focuses on the study of shallow underground ecosystems.

Ender started caving in 1987 with the oldest university club in Turkey, BUMAK (Bogazici University Caving Club) and has been on countless expeditions since than. He was involved with explorations of three -1000 meter deep caves in Turkey, Cukurpinar, Peynirlikonu, and Morca. He is the co-founder of three caving associations in Turkey, BUMAD and ASPEG, and the CES in the US. His focuses in caving are exploration, surveying, and written and visual documentation.

Adam weaver

Adam is a project caver, focusing on many of the large projects in the western United States. An expedition leader in both Jewel and Wind Caves, with substantial work in Lechugilla and Ft. Stanton caves, among others. He is a member of the NSS Board of Governors, Vice-Chairman of the Paha Sapa Grotto, and Secretary of the Black Hills Cave and Karst Conservancy. Professionally, he works as a hydrologist, with a M.S. from Colorado State University.
